ABOUT

With over 18 years of experience in education, 1 Direction delivers innovative, year-round programs designed to support students, families, and schools across California and Atlanta. Our mission is to equip every student with the tools, guidance, and opportunities they need to thrive—academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.

We partner directly with school districts and community stakeholders to provide targeted services in:

  • Academic intervention and tutoring

  • Social-emotional learning and behavioral support

  • Athletic development and enrichment

  • Attendance improvement initiatives

  • Parent engagement and family education

Our approach is rooted in equity, collaboration, and measurable outcomes. We are committed to working with all students—regardless of background—to help them set and achieve meaningful goals that lead to productive, fulfilling lives.

Through our Parent Engagement Programs, we foster strong partnerships between families and schools. By bringing together parents from diverse backgrounds, we build a shared sense of purpose—ensuring every child has the support system they need. From seminars and workshops to community events and leadership development, we create inclusive spaces for learning, connection, and growth.

1 Direction is proud to serve as a trusted ally to schools, districts, and funding partners who share our vision for student success.

"Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it."

He never limits his work to inside the classroom, as he states “students spend a lot of time out of the classroom, so in order to truly reach them, we need to be out there as well”
